DANCE TEACHING & MOVEMENT WORKSHOPS
I teach traditional modern-based (Limon / Isadora Duncan) classes in any setting. I love working with dance students in traditional studio settings as much as I do with adults in community-based settings. I am supremely enthusiastic about the techniques of Jose Limon and Isadora Duncan and believe passionately in the empowering nature of these (and other) dance techniques. I emphasize freedom of movement through form, precision, rootedness and musicality. I also emphasize the collaborative, communicative nature of dance.

Aside from traditional modern dance, I am passionate about and teach a variety of movement-based workshops in a variety of settings (older adults, public school children, young women in bridge education systems, and more). Here, too, the community-building and empowering capacities of moving and creating with others plays a central role.
